He is considered as one of the most versatile poets and writers of his generation. Ibn e Insha Urdu: The stories of Alexender and Khizer, Mahmud Ghaznavi and Firdosi, and union is strength are the best part of my experience reading this timelessly classic book.

Oct 09, Sara Saif rated it really liked it Shelves: About Ibn e Insha. Laugh and cry, all the way. At the end of each piece he asks his readers some utterly ludicrous albeit thought provoking questions ursu made me double up with laughter.

Classica humor belongs to one and only Ibn-e-Insha! I was not able to curb my laughters. It doesn’t end over there and gone ahead to include some of the folk tales. His poetry has a distinctive diction laced with language reminiscent of Amir Khusro in its use of words and construction that is usually heard in the more earthy dialects of the Hindi-Urdu complex of languages, and his forms and poetic style is an influence on generations of young poets.

This book discusses various topics like politics, education, history with a touch of magical humour from Ibn e Insha.
