Jan 08, Stephanie rated it really liked it. A Book Club Recommendation! All together it was a great read. The main character was really lovely and I easily ‘became friends with her’! It is definitely chick-lit, but I enjoyed reading it. The plot was definitely a bit unbelievable at times though she thinks she’s an kriatin duckling, yet a movie star falls for her She throws the womanizing moocher out of her home, but is upset so decides to get drunk on tequila shots.
And some people always say that some not-too-handsome guys are okay to be with.

Cole is so perfect he’s almost dull——and Claire’s nemesis, beauty and fashion director Sidra DeSimon, is cartoonishly malicious, but Claire’s frenzied narrative keeps the story interesting. That being said, it krisstin a light fluff read, and I pick up books like this mostly for that reason.
Almost at the end of the book, I had to wonder did he know that he was in a relationship with her?

A much easier assignment should be her next one I enjoyed it, but it was definitely pretty typical of a chick lit book. I have to say that the title is a little misleading, and that’s mainly why I was so surprised. As I was finishing the book, I felt like the book was trying to hurry up and make everyone have a happy ending and tie all the loose ends together in as few additional pages as possible. I didn’t want to get into another heavy book quite yet, and wanted something easy and fun to read. Easy read – definitely predictable but characters have a good sense of humor.
