Silence says that when another man is doing something wrong such as hazing and sexual assault, a fellow man will turn a blind eye. Reviewers called the book “wide-ranging, level headed, human and deeply interesting,” “superb I’d like to see him discuss “nice guys” or jock mentality in guys who are “nerdy”.
I’d also be curious about how he’d put homonormativity in this, because I think there is a parallel there.
