It’s an engaging story with perhaps a bit more depth of feeling than usual for Goosebumps books, as a few times during the narrative Ray ponders the real source of his greatest fears, the fact that his parents won’t believe him about Slappy no matter how much he insists on his own innocence.

This little novel is an awesome addition to the Slappy series.
