In this sense the marvelous text of St. This new collection of songs, some of which revolve around Lenten themes, remind us of the demanding journey of Christian panf but joyful at the same time with the strength that comes from love for Christ and as the great saints teach us.

All those who suffer, who are lost and confused, all those who have no other refuge but in God, in the Cross are their hope and their consolation where God offers forgiveness and reconciliation to the nulva as the giver of life and also for the one who destroys and rapes, where there reigned a king whose victory is made of forgiveness and love.

Today’s world is increasingly distracted by an unfair and improper use of things, from the frantic search for success, wealth, pleasure at all costs, all of which leave men after an apparent joy in the sadness and anguish. We must offer it with the joy of our testimony, with the “hand” of our life capable of touching the heart and soul of even the most distant with the extraordinary power of Spirit of love and communion.

Two other songs are taken from the Oratorio “On the Road to Emmaus” and celebrate the risen Christ also invoking His saving presence. It is there, in fact, that Christ reveals to each of us his love, a love so strong and powerful that “nothing in the world “will be able to separate us from him.

Each piece can be performed in different ways, depending on the capabilities and possibilities of choirs and individual performers. In this collection I wanted to pick some that speak to us of the mystery of the Incarnation: I wanted to publish this collection of songs during the Year for Priests inbut it was not possible. That’s why an English title and also because of these songs there is the wonderful “Jesus is my life,” the text in English was written by Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

This album includes songs that follow the liturgical year in order to solemnize some important celebrations. I offer it to all of you to share its beauty and share my joy.

We are the Church that lives the joy of Christ with His Baptism. The tradition of liturgical music has always reserved for the Mother of God the most beautiful lyrics and melodies, masterpieces such as the Gregorian Mass IXthe hymn Ave Maris Stella, or the solemn antiphon Salve Reginaare just a few of these.

At the same time, Mary is our sure hope and anticipation of the glorious fulfillment that awaits the whole Church at the end of time, when the New Jerusalem, adorned as a bride, will descend from God ready for her wedding.

This collection presents new orchestrations and presentations of beloved songs written by Marco Frisina and published originally in and This collection of songs, performed at the XV World Youth Day event at the Tor Vergata Rome in the presence of Blessed John Paul II, is dedicated to pnae young people who have the mind and heart to reflect and think back to that wonderful experience.

We find in it the source of joy and amazement and fdisina draw from it the foundations of our faith because we recognize Jesus as the God made man for us, because in Him we find the meaning of our existence and the certainty xi our redemption.

Christ is one with His Church, walks with his bride, and she accompanies him through the streets of history, in the midst of difficulties and the storms, the triumphs and defeats, never leaves, especially in difficult times and painful. The Church in those days makes us sing the lyrics more beautifully and meaningfully, those theologically the most poignant and poetic, that have marked the faith of centuries of believers and summarizing our Christian culture.

His Word has opened our hearts and our minds to the truth. If not exhaustive with respect to his complete musical repertoire, however, it represents a summary of important titles already so appreciated by all his affectionate public, an audience that has no boundaries now.

Such is the journey through the desert to reach the light of the encounter. I hope some of fridina will be useful to renew in the hearts of each of us love for Mary and enhance the contemplative awe before vi great mystery of the Virgin Mother, miracle of the grace of the Lord and of His infinite love for us. May our hearts learn to sing the love of God with enthusiasm and joy without end offering to the world a sign of hope and comfort and inviting him to look up at the cross, where ” the Lord reigns ,” our only hope.

This collection is intended as a modest tool to learn and sing these wonderful texts that the liturgical and spiritual tradition of the Church has to offer. This collection of songs takes us to the discovery of this sublime love that shines in the Cross, even with the help of some valuable texts that we have received from the living tradition of the Liturgy.

I also added some songs linked to the mystery of vocation to the priesthood and to the memories of Pastors, whose verses are inspired by biblical texts. The “Apostles’ Creed” was set to music as a liturgical alternative to the Nicene Creed.

Through the pain you go to glory, through the humiliation we reach the triumph of God over sin and the world. These songs are a homage to the beauty of the Lord. Frislna always, this proposal is part of the songs from the texts that the Liturgy and the Word of God offer us.

With that sublime gesture the heart of God is revealed and touches buova heart so that from that moment on, every action receives meaning and significance from that gesture. Some texts are translations of Latin hymns; others are original texts that echo the great biblical and patristic texts fi the Spirit and the Resurrection.

It is no coincidence that I wanted to frisna, in addition to the texts of the songs, ;ane Latin text with its corresponding Gregorian melody. The friskna to Mater Misericordia reminds us of the maternal intercession of the Virgin Mary, Mediatrix of grace and mercy, that is with us in everyday life and under whose mantle we can find refuge and comfort.

This collection of songs contains the ordinary and some parts of the Proper of the Mass of Christmas, the day when the Church celebrates the coming of Christ the Savior.

Even in today’s world, which seems so distracted and confused, the Cross has its full force painful and heroic, terrible and glorious, and resplendent with its light above the pettiness and sin as an eloquent sign of love without boundaries and without measure. We sing this our faith full of enthusiasm and confidence, embodying the words of Christ, let us enter the great words of the witnesses of the faith who have preceded us, let’s make our way to becoming in turn reliable and happy witnesses.

So sing the Mystery of the Incarnation.
