I was trying to hard to see what it was that was keeping him from diving into luarie relationship with Camelia, but it was a total mystery to me.

Laurie Faria Stolarz Average rating: Apr 19, Annie rated it it was amazing. Also the whole Debra bit, the “ending” of that was the lamest thing i have ever read, it was just sad.

It was either that or haul off and smack her stupid little face. Literally they’re in love within two litgle and she acts as if its the biggest deal in the world when he leaves to “protect her. I wish I could say what it is but again that might spoil it for future readers. Ben and Camelia’s relationship was very compelling, making you fall in love with them both. This was a real page turner and I ended up reading this book in one sitting.

I have a feeling Stolarz will delve more into that in the next book though, so I won’t spoil anything here. There has to be more to it!!!! But I think they’ve got a great dynamic going on. I wedge the clay out against my board, enjoying the therapeutic quality of each smack, prod, and punch. I said the alphabet forwards and backwards and counted up building bricks to keep myself calm.

At the beginning of the summer, Camelia almost got hit by a car, but a mysterious boy pushed her out of the way and then disappeared without a trace.

I added the second star just for that.

Laurie Faria Stolarz Thanks so much! But, throughout the story you begin to doubt Ben, which causes that urge to yell for Camelia to leave him alone. Near the end of the book.

Dec 14, Nicole added it. Someone is lying to her. And why are there so many secrets? I thought it was way cool how the author set it up so that every now and then you would get an anonymous chaoter from the stalkers POV. Nothing like Twilight at all!

Deadly Little Secret Summary & Study Guide

The book had a climax of about 2 pages and then it was done. From what I’m reading, I was not the only one who though this was eerily similar to Twilight. Will I be reading the next book? The characters were two dimensional and lacking substance. And Debbie the girl that got hit by the car and was in acoma in Deadly Little Secret still blames Ben for her accident even though he was proven guiltless.

Based off the idea this book started with it had potential to be a very intriguing story, but it just fell flat, and didn’t isolate itself from the various other paranormal books out there. Learn more about Amazon Prime. On to the next book.

Aug 02, Devin rated it really liked it Shelves: The set-up is straight out of Twilight and read-alike Evermore: Camelia Hammond is an ordinary and pretty sixteen year-old girl who attends Freetown High School. He gave the book and air of sensuality, and danger. I can’t say what exactly because that might give something away.

The story didn’t have much going on at all. Camelia is also starting to get more weird deqdly and letters. She tries so hard to be brave, so hard to stay away from what she knows might not be good for her, but she’s not so good at either one. This distance is introduced as Adam, Camelia’s new co-worker at Knead.

A very good read. This problematic triangle sure was a nail-biter, and I loved it. He wanted space, so Camelia decides to finally give up and move on. It is really cool. Camellia spent three months wondering about the boy, wanting to thank him for saving her life.

And I know that she can sense the future for a fact because right after I finished the book I searched up the second book to see what it was going to be about. We will not remove any content for bad language alone, or being critical of a particular book.

You don’t get fafia know Camelia all that well, even though she narrates – there’s not much going on in her head aside from describing what she sees.

Only now it’s from someone new. You got it, our creepy guy Ben that she has never met until that moment 3.
