His son Ogedai becomes khan, but not without incident. It helped me to look favourably on the book when I discovered the parts that seemed made up for the sake of a good story were actual truths. Khan Empire of Silver Author s: This has been a great Historical Fiction series that I have enjoyed so much.
Again due to being historically accurate i understand why these things were included but i felt like i lost track of which cities were taken, for example due to the amount of battles and the great final battle i barely remember Kiev being conquered.
I love historical fictions, they give you a front row seat into how our world was shaped while breathing life into long dead people.
