Some stories are very good and definately made me realise there are always different ways to view a situation – things are not always as they immediately seem. In my opinion, the difference between unnecessary suffering and unnecessary death is one of degree, but not kind, as physical deprivations very easily and very often lead to death. Diceritakan dengan jenaka dan bijak, kisah-kisah dalam buku ini mengungkapkan sifat-sifat hormat, kerendahan hati, dan ketekunan.

It is now sitting on my bedside table waiting for me to make peace with it again. I casually enquired with my husband whether I seemed any different during my reading of this book thinking he may tell me I was more patient or helpful etc. I commend the author on accepting the challenge, and do sense he navigated well his objective. Brahm’s humor and unique Western roots provide for entertaining brief life lessons that, while arriving at overwhelmingly passive and inappropriately reductionistic conclusions, make for an enjoyable book suitable for reading before bed.
