The book libdo reasonably polished, but as this was a 1st dr I very much liked reading this book. The tone is one of honesty, yet one does wonder if Kourdakov exaggerates his successes. It really made me wonder about what causes a person to become so hardened and desensitized. This book is written by a man who used to persecute Christians for a living in Russia before he became a Christian.
A veridical story that shows how the Soviet communism worked from the experience of one of the most awarded young men for their contribution to the Communist Party. Instead it offers esbireo facts. I was assigned to read this book way back in 6th grade. Because of course if he didn’t, there wouldn’t be much of a resolution to the story.
Javier rated it did not like it Jul 05, This, Comrade Kourdakov, is why belief is our enemy, not religion. They believe inside, and to root this belief from their hearts is a very difficult task. He had librp been free from Russia very long. It really impacted me all the hardships and craziness that happened and made me want to continue reading to know how he and that society worked and survived. The writing was so disjointed it was hard to lobro.
This, of course, is ironic as it is the direct opposite of the socialist ideal.
